Privacy Policy
Ballux Balloons is a balloon shop in Winter Garden, FL. This page explains what we collect when you buy from us, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
- Order details. Your name, email address, phone number, and the shipping address when you choose shipping.
- Payment. Your card is entered into a form hosted by Square and goes directly to Square. We never see or store your full card number — only the confirmation, the last four digits and the card brand.
- Address verification. To work out the correct Florida sales tax we send your street address to the US Census Bureau’s public geocoding service, which returns the county. We do not send your name, payment details or contact information with it.
- Messages. If you contact us by WhatsApp, email or phone we keep that conversation so we can handle your order.
- On this site. This site runs no analytics and no advertising pixel, so we do not track what you look at here. Your language choice and cart are stored in your own browser and are never sent to us as a profile.
Why we collect it
To take payment, quote freight, ship your order or have it ready for pickup, answer your questions, and keep the records tax and accounting rules require.
Who we share it with
- Square processes payments and holds our catalog and order records.
- Shipping carriers receive the name, address and phone number needed to deliver your order.
- WhatsApp carries the freight quote conversation when you use it to reach us.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept for 3 years to meet tax requirements. Messages not tied to an order are deleted when we no longer need them.
Your choices
Write to info@balluxballoons.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — apart from records we are required to keep. If you live in a state with its own privacy law, those rights apply to you here too.
Children
Our store is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
